The first desk I received has some issues from what appeared to be rough handling, but I took a chance to get a second one sent. Glad I did. I was surprised at how sturdy it is at this price point. I also love the unique design. I am very happy with it.

As the assembled products go.. this desk was easy to assemble. The top comes already put together. One still needs a drill to screw in a few screws from the bottom. The desk is good and sturdy for regular use. I don't know if it is good if a heavy person leans on it or a heavy load is placed on top. Still, for the price, I really liked it.

Very well made and hold many office supplies. The center is stationary but with a pull out drawer. The sides have a lift up door to put object in. Used for teen desk and is great. Back of the desk has door for cords. I would highly recommend it.

The box arrived damaged but luckily there was only one significant ding and it was on the back. Considered returning but like others here, it was too much effort to even think about putting it in that box that was already quite beat up. Clearly, better packaging is needed. With that said, the "desk top" comes completely pre-assembled and so you really only need to put one set of legs on one side, one on the other and then the supporting brackets. Looked like a 10 min job. Looks are deceiving. The brackets were a struggle. Turns out two of the holes were not drilled at 90 degree angles and the screws were too short to capture the threading because of it. Luckily I did get it together, less two screws on the brackets, one one each side. It took about an hour to put together.

We wanted to use this as a computer desk with an external monitor but the cables pop out of the cable channel at the back of the desk exactly where the monitor was going to sit so we couldn't use the designated location. We ran them through the hole in the back instead. We also wanted to use one of the side cubbies to store the docking station so I had to drill a hole in the back of the cubby and some vent holes as well. Also removed an unnecessary separator in the back channel where all the cables go in order to route them appropriately.

Point is, had to do some customization to make this work for us but overall happy with the result.

This desk is absolutely stunning! It is roomy and beautiful, just a fantastic design. Very stable, comes in one solid piece and you just attach the legs. This looks like it should have cost way more. We paired it with a stunning chair called the FJÄLLBERGET Conference chair from Ikea in white and the same wood color. The set is a showpiece in the room. We put in little desk organizers and my daughter uses for a desk and vanity. One of better purchases for sure.
